Petsy Etsy Day is open to all sellers whose items meet the guidelines for selling on Etsy, as well as a very limited number of non-handmade vendors that will be considered sponsoring businesses.
Artists and Handmade Vendors: Vendors who are handmade/artists will be in the largest section of the craft fair. Your items must be made by you. It is the seller's responsibility to make sure you are in compliance with sales tax and regulations. We will do our best to limit similar vendors so that buyers have a variety of goods to choose from and sellers don't have too much competition.
Vintage Vendors: We welcome vintage sellers to participate in this event! We hope to have a variety of different vintage vendors. Since vintage items are unique and typically one-of-a-kind, we welcome your application.
Non-Handmade Vendors: This category may include direct sales or items bought wholesale and then sold at retail. We will have a small number of spaces available for non-handmade vendors who wish to sell at the event. All non-handmade vendors will be considered sponsoring businesses and will pay a higher registration fee. These vendors will also be listed on our website and Facebook event page as local businesses supporting Helping Handmade and the benefiting charities.
With your application, please include a link to a website that displays some of your work that is typical of what you will be bringing to the show. If you do not have a website, please email your photos to firstname.lastname@example.org. We can't accept your application without examples of your items.
There will be indoor and outdoor spaces available for this event, with indoor spaces being the most limited. Please apply early to reserve the space you want!
Discount for Swag Bag Contributors: $5 or $10 off
To encourage vendors to donate great swag bag items, we are offering $5 off your vendor fee if you include 50 physical items or $10 off your vendor fee if you include 100 physical items for the bags. These items must not be coupons or business cards by themselves, but more like mini-gifts for the guests. In the past we've had vendors contributing items like hair clips, bows, greeting cards, earrings, buttons, stickers of art prints, soap samples, key chains, pendants, lip balms, and even small books.
This is also a great way to promote your business, attract guests to your booth, and make sure that shoppers do not lose your business card after the event - have it attached to something they want to keep!
To receive the discount, you must send a photograph of an example (at least 1) of the items you will be including to email@example.com before your payment is due, which is 5 days after you receive your acceptance. We will also include your provided link to your shop when we use these photos for promotion.
You are welcome to add coupons, vouchers, discounts, and business cards to the swag bags, even if you are not contributing an item and getting the discount.
Sponsoring Businesses/Corporate Sponsors
Sponsoring Businesses who want to donate to the event but do not qualify for a booth are welcome to contribute. Helping Handmade will promote your business on our Sponsors Tab on this site, on our event page on Facebook, and will also display the business name and logo on our Sponsors banner near the Check-in Tent where guests register for door prizes. You are also welcome to include flyers or coupons to go in the Swag Bags.
The fee for a Sponsoring Business/Corporate Sponsors is $65.00. Remember, this is not a booth fee, but rather a contribution to the benefiting charities that we will promote!
